What’s up with the Name?  ‘Two Weeks Notice’ was a joke in reference to our professional jobs and the desire to move on, but alas the name grew on us, and here we are, all still working full time jobs, and singing together for fun!

Where/When are we rehearsing? Our rehearsals are EVERY Sunday Night from 7-9 @ Northwest Unitarian Universalist Church in Southfield, Michigan. 23925 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, Michigan 48075-2547, located on the corner of Mapleridge (named Mount Vernon on the other side of Northwestern) and Northwestern Highway, near the M-10 / M-39 / 9 Mile Road interchange. What is required to be a member of 2WN? BE ACCOUNTABLE, for your music, your commitment, etc! Additionally, strong musicianship skills are required to be a part of Two Weeks Notice to maintain the integrity of the music. Reading music is STRONGLY preferred, as well as good pitch, blend, stage presence and the ability to sing solos and be an ensemble member.

If my audition goes well, what would be my personal commitment to 2WN as a member?

1. Weekly Sunday Rehearsals Sept – May 7-9pm. Please review the rehearsal schedule. NOTE: Missing multiple rehearsals is not an option.  If you have other obligations that will conflict with rehearsals, this group may not be a good fit for you.  All members are required at every rehearsal in order to progress.
2. Solo Auditions /Board & Membership meetings occur @ 6pm on Sundays (once a month)
3. $75 Annual Dues ($50 for the group, ($25×2/*semester*=$50/year, $25 to CASA)
4. Costume – INFORMAL – 2WN T-Shirt and jeans or khakis
5. Costume – FORMAL – 2WN Color Palette on top, black waist down. 
6. Gigs once a month annually (Up to 5 PR events/performances per year, EXAMPLE: Caroling, Street Singing)
