Got a voice that can hang with Stevie Wonder? A stage presence that makes Ms. Spears look amateur? Want to send Justin Bieber back to Jr. High choir, where he belongs? You just might be the right person for Two Weeks Notice.
We are looking for talented, committed singers and musicians who were in college groups, people who wanted to join one, but couldn’t fit it into their schedule, or anyone who wants to take part in a high-energy contemporary a cappella ensemble.
Two Weeks Notice will hold open auditions Sunday, Aug.29 at 7 p.m. at our rehearsal space in Southfield. MAP
Bring a 60 sec. a cappella solo of a favorite rock, pop, jazz or r&b song (no Justin Bieber, please), then be prepared to sight-read. The ability to read music is strongly recommended.
If you are interested in auditioning, please review these FAQs.

Yup, you read it correctly, after the two great dates last year, this year we chose once again one of the coolest venues in town for our Spring Concert. Conveniently located right in front of the Detroit Opera House, 1515 Broadway Theatre is a versatile black-box which offers a unique location to perform and enjoy music and more! We’ll be performing a bunch of new songs by Sheryl Crow, Billy Joel, Martina McBride, Chicago, Prince, Michael Buble and many more!

So, we’re off - part two of our third season! So much to say!
First, for those of you who have been following us since the beginning, I’m happy to report we are adding MANY new songs to our lineup! Also, for the first time, we have kept all 16 members and are NOT holding auditions this semester. If you are interested in auditioning, we invite you to continue supporting us through this season and attending our concert on May 15th. We are so excited to be planning our first 2WN day retreat for the members, adding more microphones to the 2WN mix and are spending more time than ever with each other outside of rehearsal. Things are lookin’ good!
Thanks for keeping up with us…we have so much in store for you.
Oh, did I fail to mention we’re recording tonight…uh, yup, we are!

Can you believe Halloween is already here? So yes, that means the 2WN crew is getting ready for Christmas! Now, some people love Christmas time and all that goes with it. Honestly, I adore Christmas music, I think it’s just delightful. But I realize not everyone has the same affinity for the tune-age that I do. So this year, for our December concert, we have opted to have mostly contemporary pop with just a sprinkle of the holiday seasons thrown in for those of you like me, who just can’t enough of it. I think 100.3 should be playing Christmas music any day now (yay!).
We’re going back to the Ringwald Theater, home of our debut concert it will be good to be back to one of our favorite cozy venues. And you know what cozy means…it means you should reserve your tickets now! We typically sell out the Ringwald so be sure to email us (info@twoweeksnotice.net) if you would like to reserve your tickets in advance. As usual, this will be a family friendly show! Oh and we are delighted to have an opening group performing with us this year! You’ll have to wait and see for yourself who our special guests are…you will not be disappointed! -LQ
